Lititz Chocolate Walk:
October 11, 2014 –
I don’t know about you, but I never seem to get enough chocolate. So, the idea of chocolate for a worthy cause is intriguing. Welcome to the Lititz Chocolate Walk.
In historic Lititz (the coolest small town in America), Chocolate lovers gather to celebrate chocolate for a worthy cause. Chefs, candy makers, and Lititz retailers work together to raise money for local community services.
Participants will receive a button, a punch card, and a map of downtown Lititz. Then, they’re off. Chocolate treats await them at 31 different retail locations around town.
Since 2001, the Lititz Chocolate Walk has brought more than 15,000 chocolate lovers on a tour of historic Lititz.
Chocolate Walk proceeds benefit a number of local organizations, such as:
- Schreiber Pediatric
- Lancaster Cleft Palate Clinic
- Lititz Public Library
- Manheim Township Public Library
- and other youth services.
The walk runs from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm (rain or shine)
Tickets that were purchased online may be picked up at the Lititz Visitor’s Center at the entrance to Lititz Springs Park. However, as of mid-September tickets tickets may no longer be available online. Tickets can be purchased in person from:
- Wilbur Chocolate, 48 North Broad St., Lititz
- McElroy’s Pharmacy, 100 East Main St., Lititz
- Lititz Public Library, 651 Kissel Hill Rd., Lititz
There are only a limited number of tickets available each year. This event has sold out in the past.
