The Family Center of Gap:
September 20 – 21 –
Friday and Saturday is the Community FallFest and Hot Air Balloon Festival in Gap, PA. There will be three balloon launches with reportedly 10-12 hot air balloons, and balloon glows both evenings. One-hour balloon rides will be available. There will also be games, craft demonstrations, live music, and tethered balloons. Here is the schedule:
Friday:
- 2:00–9:00 pm – Food and craft vendors
- 4:30 pm – Balloon launch
- 8:00 pm – Balloon glow
Saturday:
- 6:30 am – Balloon launch
- 2:00–9:00 pm – Food and craft vendors
- 4:30 pm – Balloon launch
- 5:00 – 9:00 pm – Car & motorcycle cruise in
- 8:00 pm – Balloon glow
- 8:30 pm – Fireworks
One-hour balloon rides are available for $175/person. Call 717-201-3270 for details. (Reservations are recommended.) There will also be tethered balloon available starting at 3:00 pm both days, with a $10 charge.
All balloon events are contingent upon weather conditions.
There will be a parking fee – $5 for cars and $12 for passenger vans.
