How would you respond when your Philosophy professor requires all students to write down “God is Dead” on a piece of paper and sign their name to it?
Josh Wheaton (Shane Harper), a devout Christian, is instructed to do just that. He must disavow his faith in God or risk flunking the class. When he refuses to sign the paper, the professor (Kevin Sorbo) challenges him to a debate in front of the whole class to prove God’s existence.
Would you be willing to stand up for what you believe? How would you prepare to defend what you believe? Isn’t it sometimes easier to just give in to the pressure and sign the paper, even if your heart believes otherwise?
These are some of the questions Josh faces as he prepares to challenge the professor and his classmates.
