Extra Give Lancaster

The Extraordinary Give Lancaster is an online fundraising program designed to benefit nearly 200 Lancaster County non-profits and ministries. The effort is being coordinated by the Lancaster County Community Foundation.

Participating organizations will receive a proportional share of a $250,000 pool of funds from the Lancaster County Community Foundation. The funds will be distributed based upon individual donations received by each of the participating organizations during the 24-hour period from 12:00 am through 11:59 pm on November 22, 2013. Individuals can make online contributions of $25 or more by credit card at www.extragive.org. All funds collected, except for credit card processing fees, will be shared with the designated organizations involved.

The Community Foundation has been serving Lancaster County since 1924. Their mission statement is, “To advance the vitality and well-being of the people of Lancaster County by inspiring generosity and by being responsible stewards of gifts for today and tomorrow.” This Extra Give Lancaster program enables individuals to join them in their endeavors.
